The combat system is arcade and reminiscent of classic fighting.
As befits a game based on the Dragon Ball Z series, an important role here is played by clashes with opponents, among which the leading duels are the motor-driven tales with bosses. Each of them reflects the location known from the series, and access to the next ones we unlock as we progress. Production has been divided into stages, and at each of them we have a vast territory at our disposal, which we can traverse on foot or in the air.
In Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, the action was shown from a third person perspective (TPP).
